To celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary, Takara Tomy is reviving an icon from 1997: the original plush toy, affectionately nicknamed Fatkachu or Chunkachu by fans.

A leap forward in 1997
This plush toy is a faithful recreation of the model released at the beginning of the license in Japan. At that time, the mascot's design was very different: a rounder, stockier body that left a lasting impression on the first trainers.
